Who am I?

By way of introduction let me share my background.

in 1994, before the Internet boom, I started a small freelance writing business. In 2004 I launched My Writing Resources as a web-based business..

Over the years, and in a variety of assignments, I have gained a knowledge base in marketing communications, Human Resources, Computer technology, and technical writing. I developed a number of ongoing consumer and employee-focused written communications including newsletters.

As a technical writer, I have worked for hardware companies as well as software firms and technology consultancies. Most recently I was engaged in a long-term assignment at American Honda that involved explaining to Honda and Acura dealership personnel how to use an Internet-based system.

I am familiar with current print production methods and technology. As a freelance writer, I continue to work with various publications and have amassed a portfolio of freelance articles in numerous major industry trade publications.

Currently, I volunteer my time at the VA coaching veterans on how to conduct a smart, results-oriented job search. If you are currently in the armed services or a veteran, I encourage you to look at the Military and Veteran Resources link on the right side.

If I can assist you with a resume or consult with your company on a documentation challenge, please feel free to click Hello! and send me a note.

Thanks for visiting My Writing Resources.
